Looking for network ready A3 printer

am trying figure out model of inkjet printer for my architectdepartments use. My key concerns are A3 size and network ready.

I have used HP K8600 (with print server) & OJ 7000 (n/w ready) uptil now. But due to limitation of memory and speed, they are notupto their satisfaction.

Some one recomended me canon Pixma ix7000. But from specs on the net, it seems to be for PHOTO printing and speed might be more of an issue compared to said HP models.

Can some one please suggest me better options available in INDIA depending on your experience?

I am also open to concrete recomendations, if some one has for ix 7000.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Looking for network ready A3 printer
Do you want the printer for Home use or for professional office use? Since I got my HP Business Inkjet Mini I am very satisfiedwith its performance. However, we must choose a more expensive HP to have a good quality, cheap HP is not good.

Finally, you can also consider laser printers in a shop, a full color page that comes sometimes cheaper than the ink full-page …

I think you need to budget $ 400-500 for anything that is really worth. It is about 45-50 per cartridge, ideally it is better to have a printer that accepts the cartridge each color separately and not one black cartridge and one with all colors. It is more economical in the end.
